Hello.
I was wondering if anyone else out there is witnessing the same issues I am having with fBook! I'm not sure if it's due to the upgrade I received on Tuesday, but up until yesterday afternoon, I am unable to stay logged into the Web App Tab and the Comment Tab. If I do actually get logged into it, once I leave the application or go back to my home screen and go back into it, I am once again logged out.
Does anyone have a solution for this problem or know what may be causing it? I also tried going into the Download tab of my market and the application is no longer listed in the downloaded apps on my phone. So there is no way to see if an update has been issued. I have read in a few other forums that facebook had it pulled and they aren't sure if they will let them release it anymore, but until then, I just want to know why my fbook application won't stay logged in on either tab.

I honestly thought I accidently change allowance settings for the FBook app becuz I've been having the same issue- and I DID NOT update! Have you tried going into your settings on the actual FB site? Make sure you have the app listed in your "allowed" apps.

Oh good, i hought it was just me!!!! Phew! Now where exactly do I go into the actual facebook for this setting!? I haven't touched it so I can't imagine it being an issue now but if you can direct me I can double check.
I also started a post on the andriod support site, so if i get an answer I will shareit with you!

I'm on a G1 and I just uninstalled & reinstalled and voila- problem solved.
So far.
If u r on a G1 (I'm not sure about other phones) the easiest way to do it is
to download appmanager free from market. Install, open it, click on FBook,
choose "save (or back-up) to sd card", click on FBook again, choose
"unistall". Then you will need a file manager (I think the best is Linda
File Manager which is also free in market) to look in sd card for FBook
file, click on it & choose Package Installer.
I went into my settings on FB under privacy>applications and there didn't
seem to be a problem w/ allowances but that's how you get there if you wanna
try that. Settings is on the upper right corner on your FaceBook home
screen.
Let me know if you find 9out anything or if u need anymore help!

I tried reloading it over what I had already, how you said it, and it still is giving me issues. It's really annoying. fbook has been suspended by Google long time ago, and never updated, how
come you get an update, that's strange.
can you download moov, and try the fbook inside moov?

I did what you suggested. Uninstalled and reinstalled and it was working fine. I woke up to find myself logged out of both tabs. Yesterday, I sent an email to the email provided within the application, so hopefully they will get back to me with a solution to this problem. Are you still having the log in problem!? I'm convinced it has to do with this update the G1 just passed along. Up until then, everything was working just perfectly!!!!

YUP. And it is the update. My hubby allowed the update on my phone & I
didn't realize it. Use Bloo instead. It's a wayyyy better app. It's a paid
app & WELL worth it. I have it but if u get it from somewhere other than the
market you can't update or anything if the release one. Send me an email if
