Search Functionality of phone flicks

I keep "losing the search functionality of phone flicks. I'll type in my search and do it. I found today that it might be going between programds on the iphone. I would be in one program searching for new releases and upcoming titles to add to my netflix queue. Then i would close and open phone flicks after five or six openings of the program search functionalty wouldn't work. i would type it in and hit search and nothing. I've had this problem before but never identified a possible cause. Is any one else having problems with the search functionality?
